The client of this project is an environmentally responsible personality, who
needs to strike a balance between the financial model of the project and retaining the natural site features. The design challenge is to retain the dense mango grooves and generate low-cost housing units, without voiding the experience offered by the natural site features.
Therefore a sophisticated approach that includes generative algorithms has been chosen for the spatial planning process to deliver maximum floor plate efficiency without ignoring the trees.
In contrast to this, a simple process has been deployed to design the facade of the sales office building, to retain the low-cost criteria. The design also considers integrated service requirements which allow the use of low-cost yet high-performance building materials, including EPC panels. This sense of having appropriate objectives towards diverse design requirements resulted in a project that delivers the emotional feel to the users offered by the site at a very affordable financial model
